Happy (almost) Halloween!

Looking for a fun dessert that is tasty and healthy? Amwell registered dietitian, Cristina Cavanaugh, put a Halloween spin on her go-to chia seed pudding recipe by adding a green matcha powder. Then she used a skull mug, which you can likely find at your local party shop or dollar store. Learn the ins and outs of this fun recipe below!

  • ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 cups milk of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons of sweetened green matcha powder
  • add 2-3 tablespoons of maple syrup if using unsweetened matcha powder

  • Add all ingredients to a small bowl and whisk.
  • Let the mixture sit for a few minutes and whisk again to prevent clumping, repeat 1-2 more times.
  • Repeat 1—2 more times, cover and place in the refrigerator overnight
  • Serve chilled
