FLU – The flu shot is one of the best ways to protect your body from getting knocked down by the Flu Virus! So get your shot!

I- Ibuprofen and acetaminophen are helpful for managing the aches, pains and fever that are common with viral infections.

G- Get something over your mouth like hands or, better yet, a tissue when coughing and sneezing to prevent the spread of infection.

H- Hand washing (or using hand sanitizer) is a key way to protect yourself and to prevent the spread of infection.

T- Time is the only thing that will get rid of the virus once you are infected not antibiotics. Most viruses last for 10-14 days, sometimes longer.

E- Echinacea, vitamin C and zinc are just a few examples of nutritional supplements that can give your immune system a boost in the fight against infections.

R- Rest is important for your body to recover from illness.
