What is the difference between bipolar I and bipolar II disorder?
Bipolar II is a milder version of bipolar I disorder. When someone develops bipolar I disorder, that person experiences abnormal periods of mania, which manifests as high energy moods or irritability and depression. Bipolar II disorder is similar to bipolar I disorder, but their mood swings are less intense.
