How do you approach someone experiencing confusion?
To check whether or not someone is experiencing confusion, ask the person his or her first name, age, and the date. If someone is confused, always introduce yourself, even if you know this person well. Remind this person of his or her location, place a calendar or clock near the person, and talk about current events or plans for the day. Aim to keep the surroundings quiet and peaceful.
